3. How to Request a Refund

JustForPay (“JustForPay”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a technology-enabled digital financial services platform that facilitates payments and allied services in partnership with RBI-regulated banks, NPCI-authorized networks, and licensed service providers. JustForPay is not a bank or financial institution and does not hold customer funds beyond what is required for facilitating transactions as permitted by Applicable Law.
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) provides transparency regarding refunds, reversals, chargebacks, failed transactions, disputed transactions, and service cancellations on the JustForPay Platform.
This Policy forms an integral part of JustForPay’s Terms & Conditions. By accessing or using the Platform or Services, you agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.
Applicability & Scope
This Policy applies to all users of the JustForPay Platform, including:
- Individual users
- Merchants and retailers
- Digi Kendras and agents
- API and white-label partners
- Customers transacting via JustForPay-enabled channels

- AEPS transactions

Definitions
- Refund: Reversal of funds to the original source of payment.
- Reversal: Automatic credit initiated due to transaction failure or timeout.
- Chargeback: Reversal initiated by a bank, card network, or payment institution.
- Failed Transaction: A transaction that is not completed successfully.
- Pending Transaction: A transaction awaiting confirmation from a bank or network.
- Successful Transaction: A transaction completed and acknowledged by the service provider.
Refunds and reversals are governed by:

General Refund Principles
5.1 No Automatic Refunds for Successful Transactions
Successfully completed transactions are generally non-refundable unless explicitly permitted under this Policy or mandated by Applicable Law.
5.2 Refunds Are Source-Based
All approved refunds are credited only to the original source of payment. Cash or alternate account refunds are not permitted.
5.3 Verification & Validation
All refund requests are subject to internal verification, system logs, and confirmation from banking or service partners.
